Our inclusive Wildlings Holiday Clubs are small group sessions (maximum 8 children) that have been adapted to meet the needs of autistic and neurodivergent children. These sessions offer a quieter environment and more adult support. Children have the opportunity take part in any of the available activities at their own pace, without pressure. Sessions that draw from a wide range of resources such as games, bushcrafts and nature crafts . The forest school leaders will carefully scaffold learning and experiences in order to create a safe and welcoming environment which prevents overwhelming sensory experiences.

Clothing requirements
Please ensure that you and your child/ren are dressed appropriately for the weather. Forest School will take place in all weathers excepting high winds or storms. If children are dressed inappropriately they will not be able to enjoy the session and fully experience the sessions.
Cold weather - loose thin layers that can trap warmth. Warm boots, hats, gloves and thick outer layer.
Wet weather - waterproof boots and outer layer. Hat and gloves.
Hot weather - thin clothes with arms and legs covered if possible i.e. leggings and t-shirt (to protect from scratches etc. Sunhat.

10am: The children are met at the gate by the forest school leader. They walk down to the woodland together.
11am: Children will be reminded to wash hands and pause for a snack
12pm: At the middle point of the session, we will all stop for lunch (Children will require a packed lunch)
Throughout the day:
Children are free to take part in any activities they choose or they are welcome continue play with friends in the woodland. All sessions are rooted in forest school principles.
3pm: The children will be walked from the wood by the Forest School leaders and brought to the school's gated entrance to be collected by parent/carers.
